German operator Steigenberger Hotels will makes its UAE debut with a five-star Steigenberger-managed hotel in Dubai’s Business Bay neighbourhood in October 2015.

The group has already signed an InterCity hotel in Dubai’s Culture Village, due to open in 2016, as well as hotels in Doha and Cairo.

The 365-key hotel will overlook the Burj Khalifa, and will feature five F&B outlets. Other facilities will include a banqueting and conference area and a spa and fitness centre.

The new hotel is the result of a partnership with Twenty14 Holdings, the hospitality arm of Lulu Group International.

Steigenberger Hotels CEO Puneet Chhatwal commented: “Having recently announced hotel openings in Istanbul, Munich, Cairo, and Mallorca, the opening of the new hotel at Business Bay re-affirms our commitment to international growth and the Middle East in particular. The hotel in Dubai is symbolic of our growing international presence at strategically important locations.”
