The Coffee Club, Australian café group with more than 360 cafés across nine countries, opened its fourth branch in the UAE at Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA).

Commenting on the launch, Liwa Minor Food and Beverages general manager LLC Michael Chick said: “We are very excited to be expanding operations in Dubai, and setting up an outlet in the airport free zone. There are number of international companies here with employees who are familiar with The Coffee Club and love its offerings.

The Coffee Club aims at welcoming its customers in a relaxed place that enriches contemporary lifestyles and offers an ideal atmosphere for casual and business meetings. The cafe is well-known for its famous all day breakfast and coffee as well as a variety of food options, including sensational salads, sandwiches, light meals and pastas, which we are sure, will appeal to our customers here.”

The outlet features an industrial look and feel, utilising brick work, natural timbers and exposed metal frames. It has incorporated a mix of communal seating, bench seating and sofas, and has a total seating capacity of 76 during hotter months and 176 when courtyard seating is available in cooler months.

Coffee Club told Hotelier Middle East that it will also open its fifth outlet later this year, at the Golden Mile Palm Jumeirah. This will be followed by two more locations, scheduled to open in 2015 as well. 2016 will see the brand expanding in UAE as well as open its first outlet further afield within the GCC.
