Brighton Shereni has been promoted to director of human resources at Kempinski Hotel Ajman.
The Zimbabwean national began his career with Constance Hotels & Resorts in Seychelles.
Shereni joined Kempinski in East Africa in 2010, before moving to Kempinski Hotel Ajman as training manager in 2011. Most recently, he was human resources manager at the hotel.
In his new role, Shereni will continue to oversee the hotel’s human resources operations, catering for nearly 300 employees.
Commenting on his appointment, Shereni said: “As director of human resources, the focus is on the bigger picture, ensuring that as a hotel, we attract the right people at the right time for the right position.
“Together with the department heads, we will ensure that all employees are given the best opportunities to realise their full potential in an excited and totally committed way. We will ensure that Kempinski Hotel Ajman remains the employer of choice in the Northern Emirates.”
