Plans were announced on Tuesday to hold the BBC Good Food Show in Dubai for the first time in December, the event's first international outing.

After 25 years in the UK, Turret Media said that the show is scheduled to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from December 17-19.

The event will feature top entertainment from celebrity chefs, shopping from the very best seasonal and regional producers and fantastic culinary inspiration, a statement said.

The three-day event will follow the format of the established event that takes place all over the UK including the show’s highlight – the Supertheatre, where celebrity chefs cook their favourite dishes in front of a live audience.

Leading this year’s show are internationally renowned culinary icons Paul Hollywood, James Martin and Andy Bates who will be appearing on stage in the Supertheatre alongside Dubai-based celebrity chef Silvena Rowe.

"Dubai is a hub of great and diverse cuisine with varied food lovers from all nationalities, so this is a perfect opportunity for food brands to showcase their products and expertise," the statement said.
