Abu Dhabi’s al fresco food, drink and music festival – Taste of Abu Dhabi is set to held at the Du Arena from November 5-7.

Having headlined the Taste of Dubai in 2014, celebrity chef Eric Lanlard will headline the event, along with other star chefs Valentine Warner, Suzanne Husseini, Steven Edwards and Joshua Stanzl.

In its second edition, the event will have a distinct family focus with dedicated sections of the festival reserved for family activity.
The festival will feature a ‘Premier Family Lounge’, to go with the 25 restaurants, new celebrity chefs and range of lively attractions.

The lounge will be an added attraction over last year’s festival, offering family-dedicated cooking demonstrations from guest chefs.

“The inaugural Taste of Abu Dhabi was a tremendous success,” said Chris Fountain, managing director, Turret Media. “The atmosphere was vibrant with 14,000 visitors and lots of families.”

“This year’s festival will see more restaurants, dishes and exhibitors, rounded off with world-class chefs and entertainment.”

The variety of cuisines on offer will include Japanese, Arabic, South Indian, European and Italian. Along with participating restaurants Atayeb, Barocco, BOA, Prego’s, Royal Orchid Restaurant, Teatro and Zambar.

On the entertainment front South African band 4Themusic, quartet group The Maple Jacks and UK-based Lights Productions will provide the entertainment along with live DJs.

Taste of Abu Dhabi takes place at du Arena on Yas Island from November 5 - 7. The festival will run from 4 – 11pm on Thursday, 12pm – 11pm on Friday and 12pm – 10pm on Saturday.
