Four Seasons, recently voted the Best Place to Work in Hotelier Middle East’s 2015 Salary Survey, has announced its plans to open the first Four Seasons in Kuwait.
The Four Seasons Kuwait at Burj Alshaya, set to open in late 2016 will be located in Kuwait’s central business district, with easy access to the downtown area.
Christian Clerc, president, hotel operations - Europe, Middle East and Africa, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, told Hotelier Middle East: "We are thrilled to be opening our first Hotel in Kuwait, Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya, set to be our 14th hotel in the Middle East.
“Entering the market of Kuwait is a logical step for us following our recent openings in Dubai and Bahrain. The Burj Alshaya development is destined to become an exciting new landmark for the city, and we are delighted to be able to bring our Four Seasons culture, service and product to the destination.
Speaking about the group’s further expansion plans for the region, he told Hotelier: “We will continue to expand our Middle Eastern footprint considerably in the coming months, with our second property in Morocco, Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca, opening before the end of the year, two new properties in the UAE opening early 2016 - Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island - and future planned openings in Tunis and Jeddah."
The 263-key property Kuwait property will have five F&B options, including a pan-Asian restaurant and an Italian outlet with wood-burning stoves.
The interiors have been designed by Yabu Pushelberg, and will include a spectacular indoor pool in the beautifully designed spa and fitness complex.
