The Ajman Committee for the 44th UAE National Day celebrations held its first meeting to discuss the preparations for the 44th UAE National Day celebrations.
HE Faisal Al Nuaimi, general manager of Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) presided over the first meeting attended by representatives of all Ajman departments and business sector.
The "Spirit of the Union" and honoring the martyrs and their families are the two main themes of the celebrations of the 44 National Day aimed at instilling the spirit of the union and the patriotism and sacrifice made by the martyrs in the public mind.
Some of the activities that are planned include a march past on November 3 in lieu of Flag Day, another on November 10 to honour the ‘mother of the UAE’ Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak and events on November 30, that’s been declared as Martyrs Day. The activities will take place across Ajman such as Manama and Masfoot, in addition to the activities at Ajman Museum and Flag Park.
Also, Al Nuaimi stressed the need for all government departments and institutions to work together to provide world-class festivities in order to attract visitors to Ajman during the national day celebration.
