The Oberoi Group has entered into management contracts for two new luxury properties in Qatar that will open doors in 2018.
The two Doha-based properties will include a 250-key luxury hotel being developed in the West Bay area and a 148-key luxury serviced apartment building in Lusail.
Planning of both projects is under way and construction will commence early next year with completion of both projects by mid-2018.
P.R.S. Oberoi, executive chairman, The Oberoi Group said, “We are extremely pleased to have been selected by the Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company (both of whom are sponsors of the project) to assist them in the design and management of these two projects and we look forward to bringing the Oberoi hospitality to the Qatar market.”
In addition to the Oberoi Group’s Dubai property that debuted the brand in the UAE in 2014, the group will also manage a luxury beach resort in Ajman set to open in the second quarter of 2016.
