The new Mandarin Oriental resort is set among 20 hectares of landscaped gardens, located 10 minutes’ drive from the heart of the city and the historic Medina, offering 54 private villas and nine suites.

“We are delighted to combine the art of oriental hospitality with the generosity and warm welcome for which Morocco is renowned,” said Mandarin Oriental general manager Mark S. Bradford.

“Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech is set to become the region’s most sought after and exclusive resort, offering stylish accommodation and a range of impeccable facilities, all of which are underpinned by Mandarin Oriental’s legendary service,” he added.

The architect of the project is Pascal Despez, and the design of Mandarin Oriental Marra-kech was created by French architects, Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier.

Guests at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech will find a variety of restaurants and bars featuring a diverse range of global cuisines, including the Mes'Lalla restaurant, serveing a contemporary take on traditional Moroccan cuisine under the leadership of chef Meryem Cherkaoui.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech features expansive spa suites with private terraces and gardens designed for outdoor treatments. The Spa also includes two hammams, an indoor heated pool, a fitness centre and a yoga studio, as well as hair and beauty salons.

Guests of Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech will also enjoy direct access to the Golf Royal and Golf Al Maaden courses, while the Amelkis course is also nearby.
