Markus Iseli has been appointed as the managing director of the Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort Kaplankaya for its inauguration.
The resort, which is set in Turkey, will act as the anchor for the brand's expansion in the region on the South Aegean Coast.
Iseli brings more than 30 years of international luxury hospitality experience to the brand and will oversee all operations for the property.

He began his career in Turkey itself with the IHG group. He then moved to Portugal, Seychelles and Hong Kong amongst many other countries, working in five-star hotel groups.
Iseli joins his current role from General Hotel Management ltd. where he held the position of general manager.
He will be instrumental in further establishing Canyon Ranch internationally and making Kaplankaya a sought-after, year-round luxury travel destination. The brand will keep a keen eye on the Middle East given its close proximity to the region.
Canyon Ranch is a US-based hotel brand that focuses on health and wellbeing. Its new Turkey property is set to be the largest Canyon Ranch resort to date as well as its first seaside resort.
Through our sources, Hotelier Middle East was informed the brand has no immediate plans to open a Dubai property.
