Oryx Rotana hotel in Doha will host international chef Angel Zapata-Martin during the Spanish food festival from 8 till 16 December 2015.

The Spanish food festival will introduce the spirit of Spanish cuisine, which includes Mediterranean dishes with a Spanish touch and will be held at “Choices” and “The Cellar” at the Oryx Rotana hotel.

During the Spanish Week, “The Cellar” will feature a daily three-course lunch and dinner with a Spanish touch, and tapas will be served on Tuesday and Saturday night and Pintxos Night on Wednesday.

There will also be a daily ‘dish of the day’ and a Tapas Degustation Menu on Thursday night. The all-day dining restaurant “Choices” will also offer brunch on Friday.

“We are delighted to host Chef Angel-Zapata Martin for the second time this year. His passion for Spanish cuisine is legendary and guests can look forward to a week-long Mediterranean experience,” said Oryx Rotana Cluster Director of Marketing and Communications Lana Jwainat.

Chef Angel Zapata-Martin is well known in Spain and the Middle East and has worked in different kinds of restaurant, including Michelin star, international as well as traditional restaurants in various hotels.

Martin is currently appointed as the executive chef at Universo Santi, a restaurant and school intended to train and employ disabled people in related occupations.
