Chef Hossam Salah has recently joined the kitchen at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi Downtown.
Taking on the role as executive head chef, 40 year old Egyptian chef Salah has been cooking for 20 years, inspired to continue on the same path as his parents.
Commenting on the move, chef Salah said: “I’m excited to lead a new team and face new challenges.” Salah expressed a particular interest in healthy eating and nutrition, and he aims to bringing a healthy focus to the new menus at the hotel.

“I need to assist clients in making healthier choices and make them aware that eating healthy doesn’t mean sacrificing flavour or variety.
“I believe in preparing nutrient-dense meals using fresh, local, whole foods. Menus are custom-designed to meet any dietary restriction and food allergy to provide meals that will benefit your lifestyle.”
