South Korean café chain Milkcow is adding to its 50 branches around the world with its first outlet in the Middle East.

Based in Trident Grand Residences, within Dubai's JBR area, it will open on January 20.

Milkcow specialises in producing and serving home-made ice cream with a wide variety of toppings and syrups. Its previous outlets have been in Asia and the US.

Siyuan Zhang, managing director of the UAE Milkcow franchise said: “After much deliberation and time spent in Asia comparing various ice-cream brands, I knew Milkcow was the one that would cater perfectly to the UAE and Middle East market.

"The quality of the ice-cream is second to none and the fun and flexible nature of the product will resonate with the lively and dynamic community in the area where we will launch.”

Milkcow has plans for further Middle East expansion in the UAE and beyond following the JBR launch in January.
