Two suspected militants stormed a hotel in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Hurghada, leaving three tourists wounded at the property.
The hotel in question is the four-star beachside Bella Vista hotel, where the attackers accessed the property through the seaside restaurant, wielding knives.
At this time, various reports have indicated that the tourists, which include two Austrians and one Swede, are stable.
Reuters has reported that security forces shot and killed "at least one of the attackers", although there is no available information on the second attacker.

The agency has also reported that the attackers had arrived by sea and also had a gun and a suicide belt.
No group has claimed responsibility yet.
BBC News has reported that the resort city is on high alert, with all roads in and out closed off.
This attack comes soon after an incident at an hotel in Cairo, and just under three months after a Russian airline was downed over the Sinai Peninsula after taking off from Sharm El Sheikh - with both, ISIS claimed responsibility.
Egypt has been working hard towards regaining tourist numbers, which have been affected since 2011.
UPDATE: The hotel's Facebook page has posted photos of the tourists recovering from the attack. In addition, a post claims to tell the "true story", and said the situation was over in four minutes.
The post further claimed "two drugged young men" carried out the attack with a fake gun and small knives.
The hotel also refuted claims in the media about militant attacks, and said it was "propaganda that will affect the tourism in Egypt badly".
