Grand Hyatt Muscat has come first in the National Hospitality Institute's Oman Chef Mystery Box Competition.
Three members of Grand Hyatt Muscat’s culinary and service team — Shyrrvin Magaway, Adil Al Shukairi and Shanmugavel Chellaiah — took part and won the contest, seeing of competition from other five-star hotels.
“Adil, Shyrrvin and Shanmugavel have demonstrated great talent in this competition, and we are delighted to have them as part of our team. Through our efforts to care for our associates and provide them with the highest-quality training, we continue to collectively reap the benefits of our hard work,” said Grand Hyatt Muscat general manager Stefan Radstrom.
The competition, held in January, aims to raise awareness of the culinary arts.
