Hilton has opened the DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre, the company's first hotel in Armenia. The launch follows the brand's entry into Doha last November, and plans of launching in Egypt in 2017.
The 176 guest room hotel is located in the business district of Yerevan alongside a number of international embassies, and provides multifunctional meeting facilities to host up to 700 delegates.
On the F&B front the hotel has launched Gold, a new restaurant featuring a menu of European and Italian specialities made from seasonal produce. The hotel also features spa and gym facilities which will include a treatment room, relaxing zone, hammam and a Finnish sauna.
Dianna Vaughan, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton said: "Armenia's economy is experiencing continuous growth, making it an exciting destination for business and leisure travellers alike. We look forward to delivering our globally-recognised service culture to guests."

"It is a privilege to open Hilton Worldwide's first hotel and introduce DoubleTree by Hilton's renowned hospitality to guests in Yerevan," said Luciano Casagrande, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre. "As one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, Yerevan is steeped in history and culture, and is a vibrant destination for leisure and business travellers."
