Abu Dhabi’s first waterfront retail development, Al Muneera Beach Plaza, is due to launch ‘Aloha Abu Dhabi’ a beach festival from March 23-27, according to a company statement.
The event is intended to bring families and friends together, with crowds of up to 10,000 tourists and local residents expected to attend the beach event.
The inaugural ‘Aloha Abu Dhabi’ will feature an array of street performers, food stands, fashion brands and live music.

Aldar Community Retail general manager Mustafa Mohamed Al Marzooqi said, “We are delighted to host the first ‘Aloha Abu Dhabi’ Carnival as this action-packed family festival is yet another change to engage the local residents and welcome new visitors.”
“Inviting everyone to experience our Al Muneera Beach Plaza, with its unique waterfront development of retail outlets, family facilities and great selection of restaurants, ‘Aloha Abu Dhabi’ will bring the community together.”
Organisers of the event, Aldar Properties, intend ‘Aloha Abu Dhabi’ to become an annual lifestyle event.
Designed to offer a mixture of music and magicians, the event is created for families, whilst its selection of fashion pop-ups and food trucks will draw in a wider audience.
