Hilton Worldwide has appointed Osama Ibrahim as general manager of the Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi.

The three-year old property opened in 2013 in the capital's commercial district. Ibrahim brings more than twenty years of experience to his new role at Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi and was previously executive assistant manager at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach
Resort in Dubai for four and a half years.

Ibrahim started his career in 1994 with JW Marriott and worked across different departments. He then joined the Sheraton in 2002, working in different roles, until he left earlier this week.

Ibrahim said, "Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi is a fantastic property with a great team which I am very much delighted to join and I am pleased to be part of Hilton Worldwide. My goal is to ensure the hotel is the first choice for excellent service and hospitality for all our local and international visitors."

A Jordanian national, Ibrahim graduated from the University of Karachi with a master's degree in international relations.
