Luxury spa uniform designers Fashionizer Spa has revealed its new collection of hydrophobic uniforms created specifically for spas, thalasso and aquatherapy staff.

Water-based environments present different challenges for staff uniforms; Fashionizer Spa has created uniforms made in a special ‘water-wise’ fabric that is perfect for staff working in areas where they may be exposed to water.

The brand new collection comprises the Thala tunic and Hydra trousers, which are elegant, comfortable and flexible.

The fabric is light, soft and supple and is hydrophobic, which ensures that uniforms do not absorb water. The fabric also has antibacterial properties, is skin-friendly and durable.

Focusing on sustainability, the fabric contains 50% Tencel, made from wood pulp. It’s easy to wash and quick to dry.

The Thala tunic is a stylish wraparound design with a tie belt, and the Hydra trousers are a simple pull-on design. The garments are available in navy from stock, or customers can order them in their own brand colours (minimum quantities apply). The fabric can also be used to create a bespoke uniform design.

Managing director Debbie Leon said: “We are delighted with this new collection. Innovation is a significant part of Fashionizer’s ethos, and we continue to develop new products and fabrics to meet the technical challenges of spa and Thalasso environments. These uniforms combine that technical expertise with style and elegance.”
