The Dubai Food Festival has announced GCC and UAE residents’ top 20 favourite unsung heroes of the Dubai food scene as part of The Dubai ‘Hidden Gems’ campaign.
The annual citywide culinary celebration is putting those independent restaurants that are tucked away behind the traditional tourist trail in the spotlight.
The nominated outlets are: Mannaland, Bu Qtair, Ustadi Special Kabab, Al Ibrahimi, The Hot Dog Stand, Nar, Yakitate, Arooos Damascus, Serena's Seafood, Al Samad Al Iraqi, Sum of Us, Azkadenya, Buffalo Wild Wings, Kabab Erbil, Seafood Market, Bait Al Mandi, Bikers Café, Mustard, Wooden Cellar, and Al Safadi.
The top 20 will also be given official recognition from Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
Dubai Food Festival 2016, which is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), will run from February 25 to March 12 under the theme ‘Celebrate Taste’.
