Wael El Behi has been named as First Central hotel apartment’s new general manager in Dubai.
Wael El Behi will oversee all operations of the 524-room property, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts and hotel administration, following his appointment at the TECOM based property.
Central Hotels managing director Abdulla Al Shammar said: “Based on Wael's management and operational expertise, we are confident that he will be instrumental in ensuring the success of First Central Hotel Apartments and will be a great asset to the property.”

El Behi commented: “I am honoured to join First Central Hotel Apartments and participate in the business development and expansion of Central Hotels, the hospitality division of New Dubai Properties with five developing upscale projects in Palm Jumeirah, Business Bay, and Deira Islands. El Behi most recently served as general manager of Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, where he was in-charge of pre-opening and opening operations of the hotel.
Prior to that, El Behi worked as general manager of Ramada Downtown Dubai and previously with Corinthia Hotels International, Safir Hotels, Coral International, Danat Hotels and Resorts, Minc Apartments and Auris Hotels.
