A fire broke out at The Domain Hotel and Spa in Manama, Bahrain, Saturday afternoon, which led to around 300 people, including 24 children, being successfully evacuated.
The fire broke out on the 28th floor of the hotel at 12.30pm on Saturday, and Bahrain's Civil Defence personally helped co-ordinate the evacuation.
The Ministry of Interior said on its Twitter account that seven fire engines were on the scene, and the quick response prevented the blaze from spreading further.
Initial investigations showed that a short circuit was the most likely cause, according to the ministry.
No injuries have been reported.
