KSA based private members club Nofa Resort and Club will join the Rezidor group.
The move will take place in Q3 2016, adding to Rezidor’s current portfolio of 27 hotels (5,200 rooms) in operation or under development in Saudi Arabia.
Private members club Nofa Resort and Club consists of 57 luxury villas, ranging from 170 to 1,600 square meters in size.
The property is located in the municipality of Al Nemar, 84km away from Riyadh, next to the Nofa Safari Park, which is home to desert species such as the Arabian Oryx.
Nofa will continue to operate on a members only basis once added to the Rezidor portfolio.
Commenting on the recent acquisition, Rezidor executive vice president and chief development officer Elie Younes said: “As the market in Saudi Arabia matures, niche offers such as members-only resorts become increasingly popular and attract an influential clientele.
We look forward to offering our international standards and services to these guests and to unlocking additional value for them.”
