Jumeriah Restaurant Group (JRG) has announced that, one a year after the closure of Rivington Grill in Souk Madinat, Rivington Grill in Dubai's Souk Al Bahar will also close.
The restaurant, which serves British cuisine, launched eight years ago and was the first of the two Dubai outlets to open.
JRG said in a statement that the outlet will close on June 5, 2016, and menu offers, closing parties and daily specials reflecting the best sellers from over the years will soon be announced.
"'The Rivi” has established a well-deserved reputation for celebrating the rich diversity of British cooking and we are proud to have run this hugely popular restaurant for the past 8 years,” said Jumeirah Restaurant Group Dubai managing director Russell Scott.
“I would like to personally thank all of our loyal customers over these last years and I would urge them, as well as the people who have not yet tried us, to get along as soon as they can to try those favourites or experience the great roast. The Rivi team will look forward to looking after you,” he added.
Rivington Grill in Souk Madinat closed last year, on Friday, 17 April, 2015.
