Dubai beverage professionals will gather at The Emirates Golf Course on Friday May, 27 from 12pm until 10pm to provide food and beverage tastings, with live demonstrations and private masterclasses.

Entry to the event is free of charge and there will be more than 40 beer varieties from places like Belgium, the UK & US, Czech Republic and Germany, 80 different wines from regions like France, New Zealand, Chile and Italy, and 40 different spirits from places like Scotland, Kentucky, Japan and Ireland.

There will be a VIP area as well as cigar sampling and classes, live acoustic and jazz music and entertainment, food pairing stations, children’s play areas, live mixing and sampling demonstrations as well as private masterclasses.

Tokens can be purchased onsite and exchanged for food and drinks at the various stalls and lounges around the venue.

“There is no shortage of food tasting events around Dubai,” said The Tasting Class managing partner Lindsay Trivers, who co-founded the event. “But there is nothing that caters to the numerous flavours of grapes, grains and hops from around the globe. We wanted to showcase the great range of world class beverages available here, in a way that the emirates have never seen. What’s more, people actually get to learn about what they are drinking while matching it to the favourite food.”

Tolga Soytekin of The Whiskey Snob and The Stash said: “Dubai has always been at the forefront of entertainment and innovation. We want to be able to do the same within the beverage industry and show people that there is more to it than a Friday Brunch.”
