Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts are operating an in-house ‘Professional Hotelier Programme’ for Saudi nationals in KSA. 200 Saudi nationals have just graduated from the programme.
These 200 Movenpick employees joined the programme from 10 different Movenpick properties across the Kingdom, including Anwar Al Madinah, Madinah Hotel, Yanbu, Qassim, Al Nawras Jeddah, Jeddah Hotel, Makkah, Riyadh, Al Khobar Hotel and Al Khobar Resort.
The programme is made up of eight modules, and covers areas such as service, writing action plans, team work and cultural diversity.
Commenting on the programme, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Middle East and South Asia COO Andreas Mattmüller said: “The KSA Professional Hotelier Programme was developed by Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts with the aim of elevating the opportunities for Saudi nationals within their country’s expanding hospitality industry.
"Through this programme they become professional hoteliers who can continue growing in their careers. We are enormously proud that in our first year we are already celebrating the graduation of 200 participants."
