360° won the Bar Team of the Year Award at Caterer Awards following a busy year developing three new menus including the roof top pan Asian light bites for casual dining throughout the week, a New Year’s Eve five course gala dinner for 105 guests and the new 180° Thursday evening brunch; a new concept targeting Dubai urbanites.
In order to appeal to a more eclectic crowd, 360° has also under taken a new music direction, implementing a variety of weekly music nights including 70s, 80s and 90s and hip hop.
Speaking to Caterer Middle East at the awards, Jumeirah Restaurants Team operations manager Dean Murphy said: “We have worked very hard on this. The team was very supportive right from the very beginning. Management have always allowed us to do exactly what we wanted to do. That has made us very unique compared to the rest, and maybe this is one of the reasons why people think that we actually deserve this award.”
He added: “This is a new team. The enthusiasm, the energy, the willingness to learn and ability to challenge the boundaries and give our team wow factor – this is our secret to success. We also want to say thank you to the Caterer team and all the experts on the judging panel.”

The management team at 360° has been together for 8 months and in this short time has implemented a strategy overhaul which has been very well received by the team.
The shortlist of nominees included Icon bar and lounge at Radisson Blu at Dubai Media City, Nelsons at Media Rotana at TECOM Dubai, Q43 at Media One Hotel at Media City and Roberto’s restaurant and lounge.
TheHighly commended nominee on the evening was ON41 Media One Hotel team. The judges said the ON41 team worked together well to help make this pop-up concept a permanent venue.
