New restaurant concept Bazxar has opened in DIFC New restaurant concept Bazxar has opened in DIFC

New F&B outlet Bazxar has opened in DIFC. The venue, which opened this month, although still in soft launch phase for June, has been described by the company as a ‘food-market-restaurant-wine-bar’ concept.

The new restaurant is located in Gate Precinct Building 4, in DIFC.

Bazxar has been launched by co-founders Kunal and Rania Lahori of Create Hospitality, the group responsible for Dubai-based F&B brands El Sur and Prêt To Go.

The restaurant is split between a Vietnamese food station, serving items such as steamed bao buns, soups and noodles; a “Meat District”, serving burgers and hotdogs; a bakery and coffee counter; and a wine bar, offering a list of 30 wines by the glass. There is also a lounge area at Bazxar, where there will be a soundtrack of chill out music.

In addition to this, Bazxar will offer regular masterclasses and “chef incubators”, in an attempt to keep the restaurant experience fresh and evolving.

The interiors of Bazxar, which have been devised by Bishop Design, are described by the hospitality group as “deconstructed” and “industrial”. Bazxar's interiors feature a combination of contemporary art, rustic wooden flooring, mesh metal work with brass finishes, and custom-designed leather furnishings.

Commenting on the launch of Bazxar, co-founder Rania Lahori stated: “Bazxar came about, because Dubai is hungry for more.”
