This week, on Monday June 13, Grand Excelsior Hotel, Deira held a CSR initiative and donated iftar packs to taxi divers.
In a statement, the Dubai-based hotel estimated it had donated iftar packs to “hundreds” of taxi drivers on this day.
The "Iftar for Taxi Drivers" campaign saw the hotel prepare iftar packs containing food and beverage items, which were then distributed to taxi drivers arriving at the hotel at iftar time, by a team of associates from across the hotel’s different departments.
Grand Excelsior Hotel, Deira GM Safwan El Khayat commented: “Iftar for Taxi Drivers” is our way to reach out and say thank you to the taxi drivers across the UAE. This initiative is in keeping with the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan of giving to the community.”
