Wyndham Dubai Marina UAE teamed up with The First Group, giving 350 iftar boxes to the local community.
Individually packed iftar boxes, containing chicken biryani, raita, dates, banana and water, were prepared by staff at Wyndham Dubai Marina and distributed to labourers working at sites of the two upcoming sister properties.
The general manager along with all the department heads gave 250 boxes to those working at the Tryp by Wyndham Dubai property in Barsha Heights and 100 boxes at the second Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property in Dubai Marina.
Wyndham Dubai Marina and both upcoming properties are managed by Wyndham Hotel Group and owned by The First Group.
The hotel’s general manager, Rogier M. Hurkmans, and senior hotel asset manager, Hani Mansour, from The First Group were present at the giveaway.
Hurkmans said: “It’s great getting into the spirit of Ramadan and helping and spending time with those that are working nearby. This is our way of expressing thanks to our local community.”
