Six Senses Zighy Bay has appointed a new executive chef, Stephen Jones.

The Australian national will oversee four food and beverage outlets at the property.

Jones began his executive chef career at the Aman Resorts group in 2000 at Mahakua Hacienda de San Antonio, Mexico and Amankila, Bali, before moving to The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur and The Oberoi Lombok, Indonesia.

He has also worked at the Hotel Le Gray Beirut under Campbell Gray Hotels as the pre-opening executive chef. Jones later moved to Montenegro to launch the Villa Milocerat Aman Sveti Stefan.

The executive chef's experience also extends to working at the private retreat of Pangkor Laut Resort in Malaysia, as well as Per Aquum Huvafen Fushi, Maldives which was his most recent role.
