Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will be introducing its own spa brand at select properties in the Rosewood collection.

Called Sense Spa, the brand will be guided by the Rosewood philosophy — A Sense of Place.

Sense Spas will be individually designed according to each property so that the spa reflects the local environment and incorporates indigenous treatments.

Chief operating officer for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts Bob Boulogne said: “Rosewood has a history of offering impeccable hospitality and the finest spa services at our award-winning properties.

“It is tremendously exciting that Rosewood will now continue this tradition through Sense Spa, a natural extension of the Rosewood brand, offering our guests the ultimate luxury spa experience at select Rosewood properties in a unique and authentic atmosphere.”

Two Sense Spas have already opened this year at Rosewood Mayakoba in Mexico and Rosewood Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands.

Rosewood operates three hotels in Saudi Arabia and is scheduled to open Rosewood Dubai in 2009.
