The grand lobby has been restored with its vaulted ceilings, polished marbled floors and crystal chandeliers intact. A glass walkway connects guests to the contemporary portion of the hotel, with contemporary décor providing a juxtaposition.
The hotel comprises 214 rooms and suites, with the choice of eight room categories, including the exclusive royal suite.
On the F&B front there are six restaurants and lounges set to open in the coming months. Dining experiences will include a rooftop restaurant that offers panoramic views of the city’s skyline, Mediterranean-inspired alfresco dining, an all-day international restaurant and a bar.
Meanwhile, the property's amphitheatre, The Auditorium, has been resorted to become a dining and entertainment destination.
Other highlights at the hotel include a health club with an indoor swimming pool and a fully-equipped gym, a spa, a ballroom alongside a dedicated conference room and four meeting rooms.
The grand opening ceremony was hosted by its owners - UAE-based Dhabi Group and sponsored by Tera Bank. The celebrations saw in excess of 5,000 people gather on Rustaveli Avenue to witness a new-year’s style fireworks display followed by a concert set against the backdrop of the hotel.
