Following two hours of counting, an adjudicator from Guinness World Records announced a total of 4,578 correctly fallen shot glasses. The bar’s record is the 130th world record to have been won in Dubai.

Commenting on the achievement, Citymax Bur Dubai F&B manager Ahmed Taher said: “There is a significant amount of preparation and planning that goes into achieving a record of this size and nature. If the glasses aren’t perfectly aligned or pushed at the right angles, it can all go wrong. It’s the Huddles fifth anniversary year and we wanted to mark the occasion with an event that celebrates who we are as a brand and team, achieving the near impossible with our creative bar staff and putting The Huddle on the map!”
