At The Hotel Show 2016 UK-based Hypnos’ is showcasing the Stapleford Pillowtop mattress.
The mattress combines a zonal pocket spring support core with a specially hand-tufted filling, which offers a firm support throughout, with a pillowtop layer to add extra comfort for guests.
“The pocket spring structure uses independently connected springs to enhance durability of the mattress and to support bodyweight effectively. Meanwhile, tufting ensures the fillings remain under permanent tension, which prevents the mattress from sagging, helping to maximise product life,” a company spokesperson told Hotelier Middle East.
“Additionally, tufting promotes air circulation, which assists in regulating body temperature for a cooler, more comfortable night’s sleep,” the spokesperson added.
To ensure the mattress offers optimum safety and hygiene, its fabrics contain a high composition of natural viscose and cotton, with additional anti-bacterial/fungal, anti-dust-mite and anti-bed-bugs treatments, and meets the UK BS7177 CRIB 5 standard of fire treatment.
A layer of latex in the pillowtop, which adheres to the euroLatex Eco Standard, contains further antibacterial, anti-fungal, dust-mite resistant and anti-hypoallergenic properties.
