Oman-based National Hospitality Institute (NHI) has signed an agreement with HTMI Hotel School of Switzerland, which will allow NHI's diploma students to move to Switzerland for a degree-level programme.
HTMI offers both bachelor’s and master’s courses in hotel and tourism management.
"After careful assessment HTMI is very keen to collaborate with NHI in Oman," said said Rohit Bhatia, director of HTMI Switzerland, in a press statement.
He continued: "We acknowledge the high standards NHI is implementing in its curriculum and find many similarities in the approach to educating future leaders of the hospitality industry. Collaboration between HTMI and NHI can bring great advantages to students in Muscat and allow them to expand their perspectives globally."
NHI principal Robert MacLean said: "This agreement provides a route to success for those students who feel that they have the ability to join the industry in a leadership role. NHI is proud to be able to offer this level of career enhancement, particularly as the hospitality industry in Oman is growing so rapidly.”
