Alila Jabal Akhdar in Oman has appointed Alex Ensor as Juniper restaurant's new executive chef.
With over 20 years' experience, Ensor started his career in 1997 in his native New Zealand and then worked in Australia and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Ensor has worked for chefs Guillaume Brahimi and Dietmar Sawyere during his career.
“I am thoroughly excited to be starting at Alila Jabal Akhdar Oman. It’s an amazing challenge and I look forward to using the fresh local produce when creating the menus, while maintaining the high standard of cuisine Alila Jabal Akhdar has become famous for,” commented Ensor.
“I am proud to have been a part of Alila for the past two years and I am eager to continue to showcase the values which the Alila brand is known for in Oman and worldwide," he added.
Alila Jabal Akhdar marked Alila Hotels & Resorts’ first Middle East hotel when it opened in Q2 2014.
