UK-national Mark Lee shares some secrets on making an independent hotel successful.
The Media One Hotel is recently won the Hotelier Middle East Hotel Team of the Year accolade and is famous for its nightlife and social initiatives.
Lee says it’s important to be a general manager that is involved with the hotel, rather than managing “from behind your office desk”.
A keen Scouser, Lee reveals his love for his boyhood football club Liverpool, and what he has managed to learn from the great teams of yesteryear (He even nabbed a piece of the Anfield pitch, when they were relaying it in the 80's).
