Manitowoc, one of the largest commercial catering manufacturing groups, has now turned its attention to the Middle East budget and mid-market hospitality sector, sponsoring the Hotelier Express Summit and investing in new targeted products.
Commenting on the UAE budget and midmarket hotel industry in 2016, Manitowoc specification manager EMEA Mick Jary said: “It is currently a pretty much untapped market so the opportunity for creating new and exciting concepts to maximise the potential for this sector is massive.”
Speaking about the importance of supporting the Hotelier Express Summit, Jary added: “It brings together the decision makers of one of the region’s largest growth sectors.”

The latest product launches from the company include the Merrychef e2s Speed Oven – capable of cooking a thick crust pizza from frozen in 2 minutes 30 secsonds.
