Two large cruise ships docked at the Doha port in Qatar simultaneously, for the first time in the country's recent past.

More than 3,000 tourists disembarked at the port to visit attractions in Doha from MSC Fantasia and Crystal Esprit.

In a statement Hassan Al Ibrahim of the Qatar Tourism Authority, said: “This is one of many firsts that the cruise industry in Qatar will be witnessing this season.

"The MSC Fantasia is the largest passenger ship ever to sail into Qatar, and made its maiden voyage here earlier this month.”
