One of the first fine-dining Indian restaurants in Dubai, Ashiana has re-opened after an extensive facelift.

Located in the Sheraton Creek Hotel & Towers in Deira, the restaurant has been open for nearly 40 years.

Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers hotel manager Hector Ladeveze said in a statement: “First-time visitors and return guests alike will be thrilled by the new Ashiana. We have a delectable menu lined up by talented chef Vipin Kala and artful performances for special and new experiences with every visit.”

The restaurant was also relaunched in 2014, when the hotel underwent an extensive refurbishment. At the time, it opened as "Ashiana by Vineet" in partnership with Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia.

Founded in 1978, Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers was one of the first five-star hotels to arrive to Dubai.
