Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach has added to its team with the appointment of a new EAM - rooms, and a head chef for Foguiera restaurant.
Born in Uruguay and raised in Brazil, Fernando María Rey Golfarine has joined the property as head chef of Brazilian churrascaria, Fogueira. He has held various positions including BBQ chef and cook in Santana do Livramento (Rio Grande Do Sul / Brazil).
Prior to his current role, Golfarine, who has a degree in Portuguese/Spanish Literature, was senior chef de partie at Churrascaria Rodizio at Crown Plaza Hotel in Doha, where he was recipient of the HABC Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.

Mircea Canduletiu has also joined Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach as executive assistant manager for rooms.
In this role, Canduletiu is responsible for the operation of guest services, front office, concierge, housekeeping, laundry, security and engineering departments. In addition to this, in the absence of the cluster general manager, he will be in charge of the property.
His previous experience includes working with Ritz-Carlton Dubai as guest engagement manager, The Address Hotels & Resorts as a rooms division manager, and Armani Hotels & Resorts and Burj Khalifa Residences Dubai as a director of residences & guest engagement .
Canduletiu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Marketing, Economical Affairs and has completed his Master’s in Human Resources from Constantin Brancoveanu University, Romania.
