For a third straight year the Holiday Inn Cairo Citystars has been recognised in IHG’s Ten Club initiative.

The hotel was recognised for its performance in 2016.

The Ten Club is an award by the InterContinental Hotels Group that is given out regionally based on achieving outstanding performance in the 'Winning Metrics' - a tool to measure hotels’ performance across: guest satisfaction, loyalty recognition, brand standards and revenue among others.

Pascal Gauvin, chief operating officer, IHG India, Middle East & Africa was present along with Simon Stamper, director of operations, Africa and area general manager InterContinental Hotels Group Cairo Citystars.

The hotel’s general manager Ibrahim Nasha’at was also present at the celebration along with the property’s department heads.

Stamper said: “I would like to thank all the team members for their contribution to what has been a simply great 2016 and we are looking forward to more great achievements in 2017.

“The Ten Club winners are certainly a great example of what exceptional performance looks like. The hotel and operations leaders scored full metrics for 2016 which was a great testament to their leadership and performance of their teams.”

Nasha’at said: “The success we have achieved came through the hard work and motivation from our associates, and it happened because we stood strong in challenging times where every colleague played a critical role in getting our hotel winning metrics across the line.”

The Holiday Inn Cairo Citystars was the first Holiday Inn in Egypt. The 311-room hotel caters to the leisure and business segments.
