Rove City Centre has taken home the prize for Mid-Market Launch of the Year at the inaugural Hotelier Express Awards.
Developed by Emaar Hospitality Group, Rove Hotels have in key locations in the city. Rove City Centre followed Rove Downtown and they have recently been joined by Rove Healthcare City.
Rove City Centre is designed for the new generation traveller who recognises value, stays connected through technology and gravitates towards culturally-inspired surroundings.
Speaking to Hotelier Express on the night, Rove City Centre hotel manager Mohamed Eldek: "There are a lot of aspects to our success. First we have a very strong product and second, the team is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. I’ve gotten a lot of support from all my colleagues. We did a great recruitment drive at the beginning followed by training and very strong sales and marketing. On top of all of this we have great design and a unique product."
Rove Hotels director of operations Paul Bridger added: "We’ve just opened Rove Healthcare city which we’re very happy with and in May we’re opening Rove Trade Centre. We’ve got two more projects that are under construction and we’re aiming to have 10 hotels in Dubai by 2020. And then we’re going to take the GCC by storm."
