When was Aliseo established?
Aliseo was founded in 1985 in Wolfach, Germany. The company began as a single product garage company, and has since evolved into a comprehensive designer and manufacturer of more than 450 products.
What new products are you offering?
This year we have introduced: Interface, a battery powered facial recognition mirror that lights as your face approaches and shuts off as one moves away; Hotel-Smart Ironing Centres, which are recently engineered, safe and secure centres which include a variety of new fixed holder designs and easy hand-up board designs in a number of configurations. And finally, we have introduced the Prestige Trash Bins.
What are some of the challenges you face and how do you overcome them?
An ongoing issue surrounds hotels that historically ‘equip’ their guestroom with just ordinary, inexpensive ‘same old same old’ products that do little for the guest and even less for the hotelier. Aliseo tries to impress upon the hotelier the importance of design and the uniqueness of our products and how they serve to personalise and distinguish their hotel from another.
