Atlantis, The Palm has appointed Stuart Pain as the new sales manager responsible for the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) sector.
“I am thrilled to be joining this unique resort with such a prestigious and innovative reputation for meetings and events. I have always admired this iconic brand and I’m incredibly excited to be given the opportunity to lead the Atlantis brand’s evolution within this sector," Pain remarked.
Pain brings over ten years of events, hospitality and sales experience to his new role. His new responsibilities will include meeting prospective global clients, growing key account relationships and educating potential MICE guests regarding the property's facilities for both small meetings and large-scale events.
A British national, Pain comes to Dubai from Chelsea Football Club, where as business development manager, he represented the club as a MICE destination and managed top agency accounts. Prior work experience includes being corporate golf sales and events manager at The Grove in Watford and golf operations coordinator at Foxhills Country Club & Resort, both in the UK.
