Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach has welcomed a new general manager, Marc de Ruijter.
With more than 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry, de Ruijter is now in charge of overseeing the entire operation of the hotel. He was previously hotel manager at Sofitel Dubai The Palm.
His experience spans the globe, having worked in USA, Belgium, France, Mauritius and the United Arab Emirates.
De Ruijter said in a statement: "I am extremely pleased to continue my journey with AccorHotels and the luxury Sofitel Hotels & Resorts brand within the portfolio.
"I will be working very closely with the team to ensure we continue to maintain our strong focus on curating an outstanding guest experience - which the hotel prides itself on - as well as driving financial and operational excellence."

He graduated from MTRO, The Netherlands in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management.
He is fluent in English, French and German in addition to his native language; Dutch.
