Different hotels and groups have different ways to purchase house linen and other items that are required in their properties. Housekeeping managers are key decision makers because they have first-hand experience of using different products and tend to look for quality rather than quantity.

What do you think are the main challenges facing housekeeping professionals in 2017?

It’s quite similar to other businesses, in the sense it’s most important to win the trust of housekeepers, especially for those who have recently joined a property. When we meet clients face to face, it’s the best chance to win trust.

What most excites you about the UAE hospitality industry in 2017?

Apart from the many new openings and existing hotels in the UAE, we see a lot of potential clients from hotels in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and different parts of Africa. Hence, it’s a huge market, and we look forward to expanding our business to other countries too.
