The Carlton Downtown Dubai hotel is claiming to be planning to open the UAE's highest Ramadan tent for the holy month.

This Ramadan, which is expected to start in late May, the hotel said it is creating "an array of experiences from dawn to dusk" including the highest Ramadan tent in the UAE located on the 47th floor of the hotel.

It said in a statement that it will be the only tent with 360 view of the city skyline and the Burj Khalifa.

Hosni A Hadi, CEO Carlton Hotel Management Group, said: “The holy month is the perfect occasion to reflect and indulge in quality time with family and loved ones. Our enriching Iftars and Sohours at the delightful venues have been thoughtfully created to provide an essence of togetherness while offering the finest Arabian hospitality.”

The Ramadan tent will be located at Zephyr’s with an a la carte menu available until 2.30am each night.

The hotel features 357 rooms (275 suites and 82 spacious rooms) and also includes 7 restaurants and bars, 10 meeting rooms, a health club and spa. Carlton Downtown hotel is also home to Dubai’s highest open-air rooftop pool and bar.
