Meliá Dubai has appointed Yannis Homenidis as its new general manager for the property. Homenidis takes over from hotel manager Saurabh Tiwari.
His tenure with Melia Hotel International began in 2011, in Athens, Greece.
Homenidis during his hospitality career has worked with Hilton Resorts & Hotels, IHG group, The Leading Hotels of the World, and Rotana.
His core responsibilities at the hotel will include initialising projects, programmes, strategies, budgets, and action plans, being responsible for implementation and monitoring of these to reach the final objectives and goals and helping to implement company and area directives as well as all organisational changes.
